Day 1: Arrival in Zanzibar
Arrive at Zanzibar International Airport, where our safari representative will warmly welcome you. A transfer will take you to your pre-booked hotel. After settling in, you’ll receive a brief overview of the upcoming safari. Enjoy the rest of the evening at your leisure to relax and explore the surroundings.
Day 2: Zanzibar to Selous Game Reserve
Catch an early morning flight from Zanzibar to Selous Game Reserve (Nyerere National Park). Upon arrival, embark on an afternoon game drive to acquaint yourself with the reserve’s wildlife. Overnight at your chosen lodge in Selous.
Day 3: Full-day Game Drive and Boat Trip
Experience a full-day adventure in Selous. Begin with an invigorating game drive, immersing yourself in the diverse ecosystems and spotting the park’s inhabitants. Afterward, enjoy a serene boat trip along the Rufiji River, witnessing crocodiles, hippos, and various bird species. Spend another night at your lodge in Selous.
Day 4: Guided Nature Walk and Return to Zanzibar
Embark on an early morning guided nature walk led by a knowledgeable Bushman guide. Explore the rich biodiversity and cultural insights of the area. Later in the day, return to Dar es Salaam, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or lodge. Alternatively, proceed to Zanzibar for your onward flight.
Day 5: Departure Day
Make the most of your final morning in Zanzibar by engaging in various activities or enjoying the island’s serene beauty. Later, you’ll be transferred to Zanzibar International Airport to catch your flight back home, carrying cherished memories of your Zanzibar Serenity & Selous Adventure.
